Step back to 1854, where the Crimean War is raging, surgery is more spectacle than science, and doctors are more concerned with looking impressive than saving lives. Expect dramatic diagnoses, slapstick procedures, and plenty of laughs.
But change is coming—armed with determination, guts, and an actual hammer, in walks Florence. She’s not here for the chaos. She’s here to change it all.
This riotous, high-energy production is packed with comedy, music, and madcap history, perfect for families who love a good story and a lot of laughs.

Overview:
Bromsgrove Standard editor Tristan Harris (Saturday) and local comedian Fat Theo (Sunday) will compere this year’s flagship weekend, promising to make it a real splash of an event.
Worcester Words Open Mic (hosted by Dave James, aka The Coach) – ensuring a lively and engaging flow.

From the new refurbished venue of the Artrix Theatre this will be explosively different and encompass:
· A carefully curated selection of artisan stalls, including leather, textiles, jewellery, ceramics, hand produced glass, locally produce including food and drink. A must for all those early stocking fillers! Stallholders Registration Open Now please visit the Craft Stalls tab to access the link to submit your application.
· Outside market zone with hot food and a seating area also featuring seasonal outside goods and gifts.
· Indoor Craft – book an experience zone, including painting, pottery, geode smashing and many other activities, book as a family, or treat yourself! Bookings open soon.
· Afternoon of Community Performance, Got to Sing Choir, Theatre Train and many other local Groups take to the stage to entertain you all afternoon.

Make & Takes – Creative Christmas Crafts
Overview:
Welcome to Creative Christmas Crafts! Join us at Artrix on November 8th and 9th 2025 from 10:00am to 15.30pm for a fun-filled day of crafting and creativity.
Tickets are available for any of the three craft activities over the 2 day of our Showcase event.
Crafts are as follows:
Resin Holly and Mistletoe, Festive Coasters (set of 4) and 3d florals.
Each session will last for approximately half an hour. There maybe a short wait at busier times.
Get into the festive spirit as we make unique Christmas decorations, and gifts. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out, there’s something for everyone at this event.
Come alone or bring your friends and family along for a day of laughter and holiday cheer. Let your imagination run wild and create something special to cherish for years to come.

Creative Art Showcase: Artrix Art Exhibition

This exhibition celebrates the artistry of four talented creatives, each known for their bold, vibrant designs that captivate the imagination. Their striking, often large-scale pieces showcase a dynamic fusion of colour and expression. As actively working local artists, they are deeply committed to fostering creativity in the community, whether through running workshops, h osting retreats, or managing their studios within the region.
At Creative Art Showcase, we advocate for the growth of small arts businesses, recognising that supporting independent artists amplifies the visibility of creativity across the wider community. Accessible and inspiring artwork, combined with engaging workshops, nurtures wellbeing and encourages individuals to embark on their own creative journeys. As our exhibition space broadens to include Art Societies and other creative groups, we continue to celebrate diverse artistic voices, reinforcing the collaborative and supportive spirit of our arts community.

VR Experience
Overview:
Immerse yourself into two different worlds from our available experiences. Join us for an exciting VR taster event where you can experience the latest in virtual reality technology. This event is designed to give you a taste of what VR has to offer with three unique 5-minute experiences. Each session lasts 10 minutes, allowing you to explore two different experiences.
Experiences:
1. **Tilt Brush:** Unleash your creativity with Tilt Brush, a VR painting application that lets you paint in 3D space. Create stunning artworks using a variety of brushes and colors, and watch your imagination come to life.
2. **National Geographic Explore VR:** Embark on an immersive journey with National Geographic Explore VR. Travel to exotic locations, experience breathtaking landscapes, and learn about the wonders of our planet through interactive storytelling.
3. **First Encounters (Mixed Reality):** Experience the future of mixed reality with First Encounters. Interact with virtual objects in the real world, blending physical and digital elements to create a unique and engaging experience.

Overview:
Bring the whole family for a fun-filled sessions of music, dancing, and glowing headphones! Whether you’re 6 or 60, our Silent Disco is the perfect way to enjoy a party where everyone can dance to their own beat.
